100 Acres at Newfields

Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park

A free riverfront park that is part of the Newfields campus, the Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park, commonly known as 100 Acres, is the perfect place to enjoy art and nature simultaneously. Site-specific contemporary art lines trails through floodplain forests and Indy’s largest native pollinator meadow that wrap around a 35 acre lake. The Central Canal Towpath trail connects within the park as well.

Park Location

1850 West 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN. The park is only accessible from westbound 38th Street using the White River Parkway East Drive exit. It is also accessible from White River Parkway East Drive.
